Lesser Decoy Line
Product Details
The DSD Lesser is the decoy that started it all! Our Original Lesser decoy proved that attention to detail in a decoy can change your goose hunting experience and we’ve only increased its effectiveness since then. These decoys have proven to be effective on everything from cacklers to honkers.
Since our original Lesser decoy was introduced we have made updates to perfect it. This includes a new highly textured surface to create an almost “flocked” appearance, more wing and tail separation, improved paint scheme and of course our A.C.E. 2.0 material.
Combo 6-Pack Includes: (3) Active Feeders, (3) Searching Feeders, (6) Metal Stakes, and (6) Heavy Duty Clear Poly Bags.

I run two dozen of these DSD lessers, and I run them hard. Through sand, mud, rain, snow, and anything else mother nature will throw our direction while hunting. I have yet to find a decoy that can compete with their durability, not to mention their realism. I will be buying more.
I did have one issue with the stakes these decoys come with partly pushing through the top of the decoy, but DSD’s customer service was impeccable and they were willing to fix/replace at no cost. I also ordered stands for the decoys to remedy the possibility of encountering this issue as well as make setup/take-down in the field quicker.
Even with this minor issue, that did not impact the effectiveness of the decoy, I am a customer for life.

A long time goose hunter, I went cackler hunt with a friend with 50 DSDs. I can’t believe how well they pull birds in and had to order for myself. Every hunt has been limits with DSDs. Wow.

Certainly takes awhile to build a spread of these, but there are two parts to that. One, it’s worth it. And two, you don’t necessarily need a ton of decoys when you have the realism that these decoys offer

Great decoys if they are available, I hunt them 50 days a season and they work as good as stuffers for sure…. there are some drawbacks to these decoys. Firstly is the supply chain seems like every time try to order some more they are backordered for extended amount of time, at one point you couldn’t even be on a waiting list the decoys were so far out…. DSD definitely plays the supply/demand curve to keep prices high. Also if you order them be picky about painting… I have 11 dozen and paint schemes vary greatly some are better than others for sure.. also plastic can be very inconsistent I have some that are light as a feather and others that way a couple pounds each …. the roto casting method is not an exact science…. I have several dozen with ace plastic…. old molded lessers in ace plastic look great with no defects, the new more detail ones have lots of small bubbles in the plastic these small bubbles hold dirt if they get dirty….. Which isn’t a deal breaker but for the money they should be perfect. Even in the new plastic some decoys have thin spots you can feel with your hand, that haven’t failed yet, but the plastic is thin enough to make you nervous holding it.

Best decoys you can buy. We’ve used Dave Smith’s for years and the Decoys keep getting better. Friends have to take a second look at our spread to see if anything alive is out there.

These decoys are a little pricey but definitely one of the most realistic decoys on the market. If you have the extra cash they are great additions tonyiur spread

I have a dozen of these lesser decoys. They are much easier to handle than the larger honked sized ones. They look great and when handled properly will hold up very well.
