Flydown
Backpack
The Flydown Backpack was designed to make hauling multiple decoys and gear easy and comfortable. After years of getting choked out by multiple decoy bags and other gear, we set out to solve the problem.
The soft interior and decoy divider keeps your decoys looking great and will fit 2-3 decoys depending on the size.
The side pockets will fit a small stake blind, Strutt’n 360, waterbottle, tripod or other gear. While the accessory flap can carry a jacket, extra decoy or harvested bird.
Sling Mode
For heavier or longer packs you can use both should straps in a backpack configuration for a rock solid fit. We recommend using this setup when you’re carrying a lot of extra gear or going on those long hikes searching for lonely gobblers.
Backpack Mode
For the ultimate mobile run and gun setup, you can tuck away two of the straps and use the backpack as a sling style pack. This makes the pack much quicker to slip on and off.

Product Details
The DSD Flydown System combines a chest pack that is specifically designed for turkey hunting with a versatile decoy backpack that adapts to your unique hunting style. Use the Chest and Backpack individually or combine them for the ultimate run and gun system.Â
Flydown Decoy Pack
The Flydown Decoy Pack gives you the ultimate mobile decoy carrying solution to keep you comfortable while on the move and set up faster. A silent drawstring enclosure with soft interior and a divider keeps your decoys protected and safe with fast, easy access. The large pocket easily fits a jake and hen decoy or multiple hen decoys.
The straps of the backpack are designed to use in configurations. For the ultimate in mobility, you can tuck two of the straps away and use the pack as a sling. When going on longer or heavier hikes, when comfort is key, you can use both straps as a full backpack. You can also clip the shoulder straps directly to the Flydown Chest Pack in either configuration to use the pack as one streamlined system.
The padded back of the decoy bag keeps you comfortable while moving from one spot to the next, but also folds into a thick, 2” padded cushion for sitting against a tree when that longbeard is closing the distance.
Two large side pockets are great for a stake blind, water bottle, small tripod, limb clippers or other items you may need while setting up.Â
An adjustable accessory flap can be used to cinch down a loose jacket, hold an additional decoy or even for packing out a harvested gobbler.

This is the decoy bag I’ve been looking for. Spacious; good straps… it even has a seat. Hard to find this quality elsewhere

Love the backpack, and then for it to be used as a seat cushion makes it even better.
Dan Mallia (verified owner) –
Really dig this bag. It’s allows me to take a couple of decoys and everything else I need out into the turkey woods.

Love this thing! Take my DSD hen and 3/4 Jake out and about plenty of room!
Phil Dunk (verified owner) –
Very well design and top quality!
Would be better for my personal strategy if I could fit 3 decoys.
Dan Soucy (verified owner) –
The bag and decoys I bought are really nice and well made. I would buy them again!

The bag is made with quality materials, but does have a few drawbacks. The bag is only spacious enough to jigsaw three hens (if one is a laying hen) or one hen with a jake. If you want a four deke spread then you’ll need to sling the jake/tom in its original bag. Not the end of the world, just something to consider. The drawstring is the worst part of the bag. They will NOT stay cinched up, constantly coming loose. Both side pockets and the main bag. I carry a very small folding saw, a few contractor grade garbage bags in one pocket and a small portable ground blind in the other. The seat aspect is a great idea, but isn’t the best up against a tree. If you have any type of weather coming (snow or rain) make sure your extra coat/gear is in a dry bag otherwise everything inside will be soaked. The best part is the external pocket area. This works very well to put your prized Tom instead of carrying it over your shoulder. Overall, average bag that isn’t too heavy or awkward to haul around the mountains.
