Derek Craig –
I have one of the very first Posturing Buck decoys that was produced. Still to this day the decoy looks great and works. Nearly every time I take it to the field, I get a positive reaction out of both bucks and does.
Chad Loudenback –
Shot a 159 in. 10 pointer with my bow on Nov 12 using the DSD buck decoy. my wife and daughter were in a blind with me. deer came from 250 yards away on a string. 25 yd shot. the whole thing is on video. my 7 yr old daughter was moving around and making all kinds of noise. the buck was so locked in on the decoy he literally paid no attention to all the noise in the blind. this is one story of many. i hunt over a DSD buck every year. INCREDIBLE RESULTS !!!!!!!

Was after a big buck with a carrylite in 2010 with no luck. Bought this in 2011 in hopes of luring him in. Never did see the buck again but the first time I put it out I had a 2.5 plow it over. Was able to harvest my first buck with it Oct 31st of 2017 and it was my biggest to date with a bow, 157” 8 point. I had a good idea where he was going to be and this decoy without a doubt helped seal the deal.
Thanks again DSD.

I found that it took a few times out before I found the right deer, in the right mood, and on the right day. But when it happened it was amazing! To have a bruiser Iowa buck come from over 200 yards out to 9 yards and present a sidestepping, ears back, and bristled up broadsided shot while being 100% focused on the decoy made for an amazing experience. The key is knowing when and where to play your ace.
Josh Thrash –
Absolutely love this decoy. Nothing on the market comes close to how realistic this decoy looks. Had a buddy in the hunting industry turn me on to the Postering Buck and after seeing his success I just had to have one and I shot my biggest buck to date during the 2016 season. Can’t say enough good things other than there are imitators and then there is DSD decoys. If you want quality and realistic decoys that look like the actual game you are hunting then DSD decoys is the only place you need to look because in my opinion when it comes to decoys you get what you pay for.

After purchasing a few different DSD Turkey decoys and recognizing the quality, pride, and efforts they put into their work, this purchase was a no brainer. I have had several unbelievable moments with this decoy, the stand is sturdy, several times it took a ride thru the air from posturing bucks. Unlike other decoys I have tried, this one does not put the deer on full alarm, it is so realistic. Biggest Tip: Put it where you can see it easily, if you turn your head for a while and look back make sure you are strapped in with a harness, you will jump and grab your bow. Waiting for the feeding doe next Dave 🙂

I’ve owned the Posturing Buck decoy for two seasons now and have had several great experiences with younger bucks, doe and fawn in Central Wisconsin’s Farmlands. These deer are so focused on the decoy you could do jumping jacks in the stand and not get busted ~ Amazing!
This last season, during rut I finally had a huge trophy trot right up to the front of the decoy. Unfortunately while circling behind downwind the decoy he busted me and trotted away… but WOW was that exciting!
After that I went right out to Cabela’s and bought Ozonics. That will never happen to me again!
Had he circled in like they all seem to do he would have been 10-12 yards broadside facing away staring down the decoy. Ugh still hurts to think about. We take scent control very seriously but I guess that’s why he is a trophy buck…
Can’t wait for next season thanks DSD for manufacturing such high quality decoys!
Nick Waugh –
I have hunted behind the buck and it drew a 3 year old right in to 15 yards without him never seeing us or hearing us, of course I missed with my bow but he was locked in and after the shot he came back at about 35 yards.
Justin –
Realism is unmatched. Quality and attention to detail are amazing. It’s big and heavy and not easy to transport but we have had some incredible hunts using this decoy. I look forward to using it for many years.
Jeff Kaye –
Hands down this is the best deer decoy on the market. Been using since they first released this and still using today!!! Shot my oldest buck last year at 18 yards off this decoy. Teeth came back deer was 10.5 years old!!!!
Don –
Awesome decoy the most realistic and best I’ve used ..The first time I used it .. He pulled my 6 1/2 year old target buck off a hot doe..And he came in for a fight … For a 30 yard shot ..

I’m giving five stars for the posturing buck decoy!
But giving two stars for customer service!
Just received the decoy have not used it yet . It’s spring time wanted to get it as soon as I was able to afford it .the decoy is fantastic. Definitely without question best buck decoy you buy on the market will last your lifetime. I have every other buck decoy, and they are not only loud in the field, but I really not lifelike
I also purchased a standing doe decoy one year ago in fact, if you look at the reviews for that decoy, I am the only one that wrote a review for it!if I had the money I would’ve bought both together would’ve been a little cheaper.
My problem with customer service they’re willing to give free shipping on $300 worth of turkey decoys. I requested in good faith if they can throw in a free T-shirt since I did purchase two deer decoys in one year cost me over $1300 but they would not do it
I feel any purchase over $500 they could at least throw in a free T-shirt or baseball cap in good faith. . and by wearing their T-shirt, you’re actually advertising for their company. It’s a no-brainer.
Little disappointed I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I have many turkey decoys as well. I spent a lot of money. I can’t even get a lousy T-shirt, but that being said the decoy is worth every penny like I said will last you a lifetime doesn’t make any noise it’s absolutely fantastic. Very well built. Realistic, can’t wait to use it last week of October.
