The Giant Decoy Line was actually our original Two-Piece Honker. These decoys were designed to be slightly oversized to really stand out in the field and demand attention and be deadly effective on larger Canada Geese. In 2018 we made a lot of upgrades to the entire decoy line and reintroduced them as our “Giant”, named after the largest of the Canada Goose subspecies. In addition to making these decoys now cast as one part instead of two, we also added cast legs that foldaway to match the look of our Honker decoy line. With 8 different poses, there is a lot of diversity in this lineup with everything from Uprights to Sleepers.
Like all Dave Smith Decoys, the Giants included our insanely durable and semi-flexible A.C.E. 2.0 material and bullet proof and ultra-flat paint. This 4-Pack includes bases for each decoy.
The Rester Giant is the ultimate decoy for shorelines or icy conditions. Nothing says calm and relaxed like these decoys, while still standing out from a long distance away. These decoys have been a favorite among our customers for a long time for many situations as well as mixing into field spreads for more diversity.

These and the Upright Giant Honkers are my favorite decoys by far. Their attention to detail is amazing and their oversized specs allow you to use less decoys but still able to draw birds away from a distance. Now that they are 1piece and new allowing you to secure the stands to the decoys makes moving and setting them out fast and easy. Love using them in small spreads or mixed in with large sleeper shell spreads. Can never go wrong with DSDs
