This combo is one of our most effective and easily transported setups. Designed to give the appearance of a young jake that is about to get an opportunity to breed a hen. Place the Jake a few yards away from this receptive hen to show a tom that he has time to rush in and take the situation over. Use this pair on their own, or combine them with more hen decoys to create an entire flock.
Like all our turkey decoys, this pair is made out of our legendary A.C.E. Technology which means that they are built to last. There is no inflation required, so their rugged bodies will always hold their natural shape. I used this last year and was amazed with the results! On the second day of the PA season I called in two toms who both attack the decoy as I sent a arrow flying past them that caused them to run off. Not even 5 minuets later I called in a third Tom that jumped right up on top the Jake and attempted to breed it. Amazing! Never had experienced anything like it until I switched to DSD. The realism is unbelievable, especially when working educated or decoy shy birds that have seen other set ups previously. The only suggestion I have is adding another stake hole option for a rotating decoy stake. The current location is not centered.

Last spring I was fortunate enough to give these decoys a try. A friend of mine and myself packed these puppies around for 13 miles in an area we were unfamiliar with. They are super light and durable. On the second day we set up and called. If it wasn’t for the decoys I am 100% certain that my 22lb Tom wouldn’t have come close enough for a good shot. I believe my success has as much to do with the decoys as it does my good friend who called for me. Thanks guys, keep making a great product.

Unbelievable pair of decoys!! This jake has not only stood over this breeder hen but has also stood over many a crazed gobble throughout the past several years with my wife, son, dad, friends and of coarse myself harvesting birds year after year!! And I might add some dang good ones!! I like to add another hen sometimes two ( have both feeding and upright). My oldest DSD will see it’s 6th season this year, and it still looks like it did the day I bought. Not only are they durable the realism is unmatched. My kids have harvested 3 separate gobblers that were literally standing on a decoy. I’ve lost track of the total number of birds we’ve harvested over them but it’s a lot. These decoys do come with a healthy price tag, but I believe they are worth every penny.

These things are a deal closer. My brother and I have been using this setup with an additional upright hen in different configurations for several years now and I can assure you they have made a fantastic difference for us. Not only do they look amazing when you get them, they stay that way. The jake has been flogged by big bruisers many, many times and doesn’t look a bit different than new.

I’m not one to leave a review, but after my experience I felt like sharing. I used these decoys for the first time today on land that I have hunted turkeys on for four years that I have never had a turkey decoy on with several other brands. I have decoyed numerous birds on other properties, with those same decoys, but this one place they will only look and never commit. Though today in the evening was different as soon as the 4 toms got a good look at the DSD decoys from the front side, they came running in and gave me a 26 yard shot all on video. I am beyond pleased with everything about these decoys and couldn’t ask for anything more.
